THE UNCOMMON FRIENDS FOUNDATION NAMES WILSONMILLER, INC.
AS WINNER OF THE SECOND ANNUAL UNCOMMON FRIENDS
FOUNDATION BUSINESS ETHICS AWARD

FORT MYERS, Fla. (June 25, 2007) – The Uncommon Friends Foundation, a Southwest Florida character-education foundation, has selected WilsonMiller, Inc. as the winner of second annual Uncommon Friends Foundation Business Ethics Award. The award, which recognizes a company’s system-wide commitment to business ethics, was presented to Alan Reynolds, Chairman & CEO of WilsonMiller, Inc., at the organization’s “Uncommon Evening” on June 7, 2007 at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Resort & Spa.

WilsonMiller was selected from three finalists including Entech Computer Services and LeeSar Regional Service Center.

The winner was selected by a team of nationally respected ethics professionals who developed the award criteria and made their selections from among the 45 companies and organizations that were nominated by business, political, community and religious leaders from the five-county area. Each nominated company received an invitation to apply.

“We have enlisted the support of a team of nationally respected ethics professionals to select this year’s honoree,” said Arlene Roth, executive director of Uncommon Friends Foundation. She explained that the Business Ethics Award judging panel includes: Charles Fornaciari, Ph.D., Uncommon Friends Chair of Ethics, College of Business, Florida Gulf Coast University; Annette Jacobs, chair and CEO, SafeHarbor Technology Corporation, Seattle, Wash.; and Linda D. Jones, senior vice president, Regional Operations Director, HomeBanc Mortgage Corporation, Deerfield Beach, FL.

“The goal for all organizations should be to create a culture that develops, encourages
and rewards the highest standard of ethical behavior at all levels of the organization,” said Roth. “This program will provide regional business leaders with outstanding examples of system-wide business ethics programs that they can use as models for their own companies.”

“I was honored to be a judge for the Business Ethics Awards sponsored by the Uncommon Friends Foundation.  It was rewarding to see the high standards exhibited by all the entrants and finalists, as well as be involved with an organization that promotes and elevates ethics within the community.”—Annette Jacobs
